Launching Get Access

Today we’re launching Get Access, a curated private markets investment platform designed to connect great companies with investors who bring both capital and the ability to help.

The idea came from a gap I knew well.

As a former executive on the leadership team of one of Silicon Valley’s most recognizable companies, I thought I would naturally see opportunities to invest in the next generation of technology companies.

That wasn’t how it worked.

Outside the occasional angel investment in a company started by a friend or colleague, opportunities to invest were hard won or structured in ways that were too opaque to get comfortable with. Promising companies were raising capital, but those rounds happened inside closed networks I didn’t have the time to uncover. The vast majority of my friends and colleagues were in the same position.

When I met Guy Oseary of Sound Ventures in 2025, I learned that the problem extended well beyond my own circles. At the intersection of Hollywood and Silicon Valley, Guy heard the same question from household names again and again: how did he hear about these companies, and how did he get the opportunity to invest?

Guy had been building the foundations of a business to answer that question through Sound Ventures' incubation strategy -- Sound Studios. That work became Get Access. So I joined Get Access full time as CEO and we’ve been testing our thesis and gearing up to launch what you will see today. 

Our goal is to make those connections happen at scale. Founders get access to useful capital. Investors get access to companies where their expertise and relationships can matter.

What we also learned is that we need to address the inconsistencies and complexity that exists in this world if we want to get the very best members on the platform. We need to be quickly able to surface the signal and remove the noise for a member base that is incredibly busy and in demand. 

To support that, we’ve built a network of more than 100 leading venture investors: angels, operators and GPs, including Josh Wolfe, Elad Gil and Jim Breyer and many more. Together, they have been early investors in more than 100 unicorns and many of the most significant technology companies of the last two decades. Our deals are sourced through or backed by this incredible network. 

We’ve also built the platform around a consistent investment structure.

Every opportunity is a primary investment approved by the company, and Get Access invests directly on its cap table. No secondaries. No layered funds.

Each opportunity has a clear price set by a lead or strategic investor in the round. Our economics are the same every time: 0% management fees, $0 setup or access fees, and 10% carry on gains. One membership fee.
